This web site is a compilation of different sorts of exploration, some of it artistic
and some of it scientific. The scientific aspect is purely documentary, mostly due to
the limited time and conditions to create the images.

As a photographer my travels really began in East Africa and from there expanded to
many countries including the Middle East, South Africa, South America, Asia, India and various
countries in Europe. As a member of the Scientific Explorer's Society based in London, England, I have participated in expeditions to Guyana, South America, Northern India and Nepal.

One of my more noteable expeditions was to Nepal where we studied a new species
of elephant. Our experiences have been published in the book "Mammoth Hunt," by
Colonel John Blashford Snell and Rula Lenska.

Other noteable events in my photography career include 3rd place Scenic awarded by
the late Galen Rowell (the image right). I make a point to attend workshops given by professional photographers such as Nevada Weir and Lisl Dennis. I most recently completed a week at the renowned Santa Fe Photo Workshops to enhance my studio lighting skills.

I have dabbled between color and black and white with more work recently in the latter. I hope you enjoy the journey through my web site, it has been a real adventure to me, to say the least.
